BYCAP INC. is a manufacturer of custom designed high voltage, oil-filled capacitors. We were founded in 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. As the company began to make its mark in the capacitor industry and the business started to expand, so did the need for a bigger facility. In 1980, Bycap Inc. moved into a larger building in the Ravenswood corridor on Chicago’s north side. By 1997, continued growth of the business necessitated a move to our current location at 5505 North Wolcott Avenue in Chicago.
